Society plans fall festival.(Capital Region)

STEPHENTOWN - The Stephentown Historical Society will hold its fall festival on Sept. 18 under the tent at The Berry Patch on Route 22. The fest runs from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Homemade apple and pumpkin pies, served with or without ice cream or topping, will be on the menu, along with cider and coffee. There will be a variety of children's activities, a bake sale and free recipe exchange. The Historical Society will also sell decorated pumpkins and birdhouses created by its members. The Berry Patch is 1.7 miles south of the traffic light on Route 22.

A highlight of the festival will be pumpkin decorating and making gourd birdhouses for kids of all ages. Dale …
