ANC 'very much divided', Ramatlhodi says on radio.(News)

THE ANC is deeply divided and its leadership needs to step back "and find one another", a senior party member has said.

Interviewed on the Tim Modise show on Radio 702 yesterday, former Limpopo premier Ngoako Ramatlhodi contradicted statements from ANC officials that the party was not divided.

"We are very much divided. We all know that," he said.

Ramatlhodi, a former ally of President Thabo Mbeki and a member of the party's national executive committee, said "administrative measures are being used by certain individuals ... to influence the political succession in the country".
