Qld: Woman killed in car crash

Police are investigating the death of a woman in a single vehicle accident on the Bruce
Highway north of Brisbane today.

A police spokeswoman says the woman, aged in her 50s, died about 7.30am (AEST) when
the car in which she was a passenger left the highway and crashed into trees two kilometres
from the Caboolture-Bribie Island turnoff.

The male driver was taken to Caboolture Hospital with minor injuries.

The woman's name hasn't been released.
